In tonight’s episode of “Blogsmoke” on the Grand Hog of Ridge Road in Westminster’s Hog Blog, William John Joseph Hoge III gives us a clue as to who one of his contacts is, and throws a co-defendant under the bus.
Not only is this very poorly-written from a radio standpoint, where the listener has to create the characters in his/her mind and the script needs to evoke visceral responses and imagery, we find out that Hoge’s informant is a female with a southern accent (Dee in Houston, perhaps?) and he blames co-defendant Aaron Walker for getting them involved in the messy (at the time) marital dispute between Brett and Tetyana Kimberlin.
Ask yourself.
In what universe is it considered acceptable for two non-family members to travel all the way from Virginia (for Walker) and Westminster (for Hoge) to watch a family dispute play out in court? Even more odd, in what universe is it considered normal for two non-journalists to waltz down to the clerk’s office to get copies of the FILINGS made in the case?
Unless…
The intent was to contact “The Crippler” and Tetyana to offer Walker’s experience as a “Legal Scholar” and Hoge’s tender of legal services from his own lawyer, Zoa Barnes?
Again, if I am F. Patrick Ostronic, I am slitting my wrists in 3, 2, 1…
