I have decided that WJJ Hoge is running a comedy, satire blog.
Here is what he posted this morning:
Let’s look at the filing.
Oh noes! He has FAILED to serve court papers on WJJ Hoge! Mr. Hoge has refused to accept service by e-mail. And he gets the year wrong in paragraph 2. But that’s obviously a typo — no sarcasm intended. I still occasionally write 19 as the first two letters of the year before catching the error.
More?
Well, maybe Mr. Hoge doesn’t understand how these things work. When the postman knocks at your door to deliver a certified letter and you don’t answer, he leaves a notice on your door. It then becomes your responsibility to GO to the Post Office and PICK UP the delivery.
Mr. Kimberlin mailed the response to Mr. Hoge on January 17. It departed the Sort Facility in Cabin John the same day and was processed at the Sort facility in Capitol Heights, Md., on the same day. It left the Capitol Heights facility on the 18th and was processed at the Sort Facility at Linthicum Heights, Md., the same day. It left there the same day and arrived at the post office in Westminster, Maryland, at 7:57 am on the 18th. After being sorted, it was sent out with the Postman on the 18th, and the postman left notice at Mr. Hoge’s house at 20 Ridge Road., Westminster, Maryland, on the 18th at 9:55 am.
The response sat in the post office unclaimed until 9:36 am yesterday. Seven days, it sat unclaimed, although the USPS says it left notice for Mr. Hoge on the 18th at 9:55 am.
This can only mean one thing.
THE US POSTAL SERVICE, LIKE THE MARYLAND COURT SYSTEM, IS IN CAHOOTS WITH BRETT KIMBERLIN AS A SHOW OF GRATITUDE FOR KIMBERLIN’S EXPOSURE OF DAN QUAYLE AS A POT-SMOKING HYPOCRITE.
(Sweet Jesus!)
And Hoge has filed a motion, an honest to Christ motion, with the federal court, asking for Kimberlin to be punished because Hoge couldn’t be bothered to drive to the post office to pick up a certified letter made necessary because he refuses to accept e-mail service.
To further complicate matters, Mr. Hoge also involves DB Capital Strategies and the Franklin Center in this madness, without their permission (they have their own lawyers), and proves that Kimberlin did, indeed, send out notices with an exhibit in his motion showing that Aaron Walker received the response from Kimberlin, BECAUSE IT WAS MAILED AT THE SAME TIME!!!
Also, Mr. Kimberlin sent the same process to the lawyer for the Franklin Center, same date. It was also delivered.
I can’t wait to hear the explanation for THIS latest unforced error in the Hoge game plan.
