A person, obviously a supporter of the Hoge/Walker/Akbar/McCain/KU contingent, has left a couple comments on my previous post about the mediation offer from the Carroll County State’s Attorney’s office. I asked the person to give me his bona fides for making the claims he has, and he has not done so. As I am in no mood to go back and forth with a lickspittle, he is now banned from this blog.
So, where to go to find out about the Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Mediation Program? I know! Let’s go to THEIR WEBSITE!
Clearly, Mr. WJJ Hoge III has issues. We all do, being human. My issues revolve around the right to express my opinion in a legal way, even if people don’t care for my opinion which they have the absolute right to ignore. This option, suggested by the Chief Assistant State’s Attorney, strikes me as a perfect answer to a touchy question. Every time Hoge has brought charges against me, he has had them dropped. Then, he would file new charges and have them dropped. And so on. And so on. This could bring this vicious circle, and I do mean “vicious”, to a halt.
This sounds like the perfect solution. At the very least, it will help determine whether Mr. Hoge is reasonable and rational. If he does not agree to mediation, or during mediation if he insists that “LAWS WERE BROKEN AND SOMEONE MUST BE PUNISHED,” well, that will be the position he will have to live with. For my part, I will continue to follow the appeal process for the extension of the Peace Order. I do not feel I have broken the law, I have evidence that indicates I have not broken the law, but if we can come to an agreement whereby Hoge leaves me alone and pretends I no longer exist, I am more than happy to provide him with the same courtesy.
I’m still waiting for word on “when.” But whenever it is, I will be there, ready to work with the mediator and Mr. Hoge to bring this nonsense to an amicable end. We will just have to wait to see how interested Mr. Hoge is in an amicable resolution to this conflict.
